Brenda Allen, LMBT NC-16715

Brenda was first introduced to massage therapy through a recovery regimen for injuries she sustained in a car collision. Amazed at the newfound healing benefits of chiropractic care and massage therapy; she was inspired to go into the field to help others find relief from their pain.

She graduated from Southeastern Institute for Massage Therapy and gained extensive experience with neuromuscular massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, myofascial release, trigger point release, and prenatal massage. Brenda has expanded her skillset with additional training in sports massage and cupping therapy.

Neuromuscular therapy is her specialty with the intention of correcting postural deviations through soft tissue work. Her disciplined approach focuses on educating her clients to provide self-care to progressively correct improper body mechanics to reach the ultimate goal of living without pain. Brenda enjoys working with clients to help resolve chronic pain, tension headaches, accumulation of muscular tension, reinforcing joint mobility through the utilization of assisted stretches and breaking down muscular scar tissue. While firm pressure is her strength, relaxation and comfort are still a part of her treatments as well. By adjusting each massage to the individual client, she will provide a very specific massage tailored to your needs.
